Carrollton Baptist Church began in 1981 and moved to its current location in 1985. An addition was completed in 2002, and the church was debt-free by the end of the same year. Refurbishment of the sanctuary was completed in 2003.
Active members come from Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Carrollton, Smithfield, Newport News, and Hampton. Various religious, educational, and occupational backgrounds are represented within the church body. Our members strive to support each other through prayer, fellowship, and loving acts of ministry.
