"The Reason for God" Book Study
The Reason for God is a book which requires that one really thinks about a variety of positions a person may have concerning God, including His relevance in our lives, and even in society, today. Keller uses logic, and pulls from a variety of disciplines, including anthropology, philosophy, science, and more to examine each of the common objections often put forth by skeptics. Those who study this book are challenged to examine their own beliefs, including those held by Christians.
Women who are interested in participating will need to purchase the book (see Darby Walls or go to Amazon.com) and a thin, regular size three ring notebook (about 1 - 1 1/2 inches).
The study group will get together in an informal setting, every 2 weeks for 1 to 1 and 1//4 hours to discuss the chapter read during the previous two week period. The group begins at 6:45 p.m. and ends at 7:45/8:00 p.m. on the second and the fourth Tuesday of each month. For information on location, or for additional information, contact CBC at 757.238.2399.
